As a student I use Microsoft Word almost everyday. The main reason why I use it is to write papers. In English I have a paper due almost every class, and a journal due every Sunday night. I use Word as the application to write my papers in. I have seen teachers use Microsoft word when they need to make lists to show us when is to be done in class that day. Or maybe they will type the assignment on word and put it on the projector to show us what it is.


As a teacher is would chose to use Microsoft Word all the time in my classroom. It is the most common and a very easy word processor to use. I can use it to do almost anything. I can make charts, lists, write up assignments, make worksheets, and many more things. I would also try to teach my students to use word because it will be very helpful in their education.


I did not know how to add symbols, crop and edit pictures, make charts, and add tables. All of these things will be very useful to me in my educational career. I think they will be useful because they are things that can make my teaching a little easier for me to teach and for my students to understand. When using word you can do almost anything they will be necessary to helping me teach effectively.
